Helping Malaysians read their own credit story

We exist to turn a confusing document into something you can actually understand.

Our story

Why Prudore started

Prudore began after its founders noticed the same pattern again and again: people would receive a copy of their personal credit report and simply not know what most of it meant. Column headings, status codes, and reporting periods were technically printed in English, yet still felt like a foreign language.

Based in Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya, our studio was built around a simple idea — that report literacy should be treated as basic education, not a specialist skill reserved for finance professionals. We annotate real report layouts, define every term in everyday words, and let learners ask questions in a relaxed group setting.

We are careful about what we are and are not. Prudore is an educational provider. We do not offer regulated financial advisory services, and nothing we teach should replace guidance from a licensed professional or the relevant official reporting body in Malaysia. Our role is to help you feel less lost the next time you open your own report.

How we work

Our standards and safeguards

Data Privacy First

Sessions use anonymised sample reports rather than requiring your personal documents.

Education, Not Advice

All content is framed as general information, clearly separate from regulated advisory work.

Reviewed Materials

Glossaries and reading notes are periodically reviewed for accuracy and clarity.

Small Group Sizes

Group Q&A sessions are kept small so every question gets proper attention.

Report literacy as a everyday skill

Credit reporting terminology in Malaysia draws from banking, regulatory and consumer protection contexts, which is part of why a single document can feel dense on first read. Prudore approaches this from a teaching perspective rather than a sales perspective: sessions are structured around the actual sections found in a typical report, moving field by field rather than jumping between unrelated topics.

Participants leave with a working vocabulary for their own report, a printed or digital glossary they can keep, and a clearer sense of which questions are worth raising with their bank or the relevant official body. Our facilitators come from teaching and community education backgrounds, and each session is designed to be followed by someone opening a credit report for the very first time.
